My work is always related to memories. Every day, we create and lose memories.

In my paintings, where everything is out of focus, there is always a distance that can never be closed, no matter how close you get. From afar, it seems clear, but the closer you approach, the blurrier it becomes, much like our memories. Some say that the present moment only gains value once it is remembered. Our lives are a continuous ebb and flow of chance encounters and partings, and I hope my work conveys the depth and value of these connections
